Dress Code 

Please note...

 

Students not in the proper attire could be asked to sit, watch, and take notes during class. No loose jewelry is permitted or gum chewing. For all ballet classes, hair MUST be in a bun. For all other classes, hair should be pulled back, out of the face. All dance shoes (including sneakers for hip-hop) must NOT BE WORN OUTSIDE.

 
 

Creative Movement / Mini & Me  

Comfortable clothes to move in, if a skirt is worn please have leggings or shorts underneath. Barefeet- no shoes required.

Ballet/Tap Combo

Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and black tap shoes. Black skirts are permitted, but no tutus. Hair pulled back in bun.

Ballet

Black leotard, pink tights, pink split-sole ballet shoes, hair pulled back in a bun. Ballet skirts are allowed. For boys please wear black tights, white t-shirt, dance belt, and black split-sole ballet shoes.

Tap

Comfortable athletic clothes to move in such as leggings, tank-top, or form fitting t-shirt, black tap shoes.

Hip-Hop

Comfortable athletic clothes that you can move and stretch fully in, with sneakers only worn for hip-hop class. Hats are permitted to be worn in class.

Jazz/Musical Theater

Comfortable athletic clothes to move in such as form fitting leggings, and tank-top. Black jazz shoes.

Contemporary

Comfortable athletic clothes to move in such as form fitting leggings, and tank-top. Barefeet-no shoes required.

Yoga

Any athletic clothing you are comfortable moving in is great! During Vinyasa classes you might want a top that is a little more form fitting. Wear layers to Restorative classes (slower paced class = not as much heat created).
