Ballet/Tap: This is a 45 minute class for young dancers, incorporating ballet and tap vocabulary. Students begin learning the foundations of ballet and tap in an upbeat, educational environment.
Jazz- Creative Club: This class is for young dancers, introducing them to basic jazz movement. They begin by learning isolations, jumps, turns, and cross lateral movements. Each dancer’s artistic voice and creativity will be expanded upon.
Ballet I: Ballet is the foundation of all dance. In this class we begin learning the foundations of ballet, learning to use proper feet muscles, position the arms correctly and create effective muscle memory. Strength and flexibility are incorporated throughout class. *All levels welcome*
Ballet II: Ballet is the foundation of all dance. In this class we begin building on the foundations of ballet, while learning more complex positions of the arms and feet. Strength and flexibility are incorporated throughout class. *Previous ballet training is required*
Jazz I & II: This class will focus on learning isolations of the body, turns, leaps, and improving performance quality. Class will consist of a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations. *Jazz II previous dance training required*
Hip Hop: This is a high energy class, jam packed with ways to gain self-confidence, rhythm, and coordination. Hip Hop lets the dancers use their rhythm to find their way of moving. *Hip Hop III previous dance training required*
Contemporary Jr: Contemporary joins ballet, jazz, and modern all together to create a dance form that allows for self expression. Dancers will explore news ways of moving in combinations and this class also incorporates various methods of improvisation. *All levels welcome*
