Full-time Team
FMDC’s Full-time Team is designed for elite dancers wanting to grow their technical and artistic abilities. The dancers continually have the opportunities to expand upon their performance skills, and work towards technical excellence. The Full-time Team is more competitive and holds dancers to high standards. The community formed within our teams is unmatched. Now is the time to become a rising star!
Full-time Team is for ages 6yrs and up. Must be 6yrs old by August 31st.
Full-time Team Involves:
- Choosing dance as a priority over all other extra curricular activities
- Attendance to 2 competitions and 3 conventions (optional 4th)
- Participate in 2 group dances with the option to participate in 3rd or 4th group dance
- Attendance in occasional Community performances
- Optional Classes with Guest Teachers at FMDC
- Participation in Holiday Show and Year-End Show
SUMMER REQUIREMENTS
All team members must complete at least 4 weeks of the 6 week summer evening session (June 20th-July 27th).
August 7th-11th- Choreography for all solos, duos, and trios will be completed this week.
August 14th-18th- Choreography for all groups dances. Please block off 4:15-9pm Monday through Friday.
August 19th- 9am-12pm Master Classes. FMDC will be bringing in some master teachers for the competition team to take classes from.
Mini Full-time Team Minimum Requirements (Approximately ages 6-9yrs)
- Dancers will perform in 2 group numbers at competition and convention, with the option to add a 3rd and 4th group dance (additional fees will apply).
- Required to take weekly classes in jazz, ballet, acro, hip hop, tap, and team rehearsal.
- 2023-2024 Year End Show costumes: approximately $85 per costume. Ballet is required for Year End Show. All other styles are optional.
- Guest teachers: Approximately $25 – $40 per class
- 2023-2024 Tuition & Rehearsals: approximately $440-$530 per month
- 2023-2024 approximate minimum Full-time Team costs: $2000 for convention/competition fees, and teacher fee.* Broken into 6 monthly payments of approximately $333*
- 2023-2024 approximate minimum Full-time Team costs: $1120 for Team fee ($200 due when the team contract is signed), includes 2 costumes, team jacket, admin fee, and 2 group choreography fees. *Option to pay in full with a 10% discount or break into 6 monthly payments of approximately $184*
Full-time Team Minis- MONTHLY PAYMENTS– Minimum monthly payments for Full-time Team will be approximately $333-$517 per month to be paid on the 15th of each month July 2023 – January 2024 (no payment is collected in December). Your final balance will be due January 15th, 2024. This is in addition to your tuition payments. These payments are for your required groups, conventions, costumes, etc. Additional payments will be due for extra groups, solos, etc.
Junior & Teen Full-time Team Minimum Requirements (Approximately ages 10yrs+)
- Dancers will perform in 2 group numbers at competition and convention , with the option to add a 3rd and 4th group dance (additional fees will apply).
- Required to take weekly classes in jazz, ballet, acro, hip hop, tap, and team rehearsal.
- 2023-2024 Year End Show costumes: approximately $85 per costume. Ballet is required for Year End Show. All other styles are optional.
