Brand NEW to FMDC for Season 6 you can now be a

part of the Part-time Competition Team.

 

FMDC’s Part-time Team is for dancers who want to be a part of the competition team with a lower time commitment, and more flexible financial obligations. This provides an opportunity for budding dancers to be a part of a team, train at a high level, and develop as an artist/individual. The community formed within our teams is unmatched. Now is the time to let your dancer shine!

Part-time Team is for ages 6yrs and up. Must be 6yrs old by August 31st.

Part-time Team Involves: 

  • Attendance to 2 competitions and 1 conventions
  • Participate in 1 group dance with the option to participate in 2 group dances
  • Attendance in occasional Community performances
  • Optional Classes with Guest Teachers at FMDC
  • Attendance in the 6 week summer session (3 weeks required)
  • Participation in Holiday Show and Year-End Show

Part-time Team Minimum Requirements- 1 Group Dance

  • Dancers will perform in 1 group number at competition and attend 1 convention, with the option to add a 2nd group dance (additional fees will apply).
  • Required to take weekly classes in jazz, ballet, acro, and team rehearsal.
  • 2023-2024 Year End Show costumes: approximately $85 per costume. Ballet is required for the Year End Show. All other styles are optional. 
  • Guest teachers:  Approximately $25 – $40 per class  
  • 2023-2024 Tuition & Rehearsals: approximately $300 per month 
  • 2023-2024 approximate minimum Part-time Team costs: $562 for convention/competition fees, and teacher fee. *Broken into 6 monthly payments of approximately $94*
  • 2023-2024 approximate minimum Part-time Team costs: $650 for Team fee ($200 due when the team contract is signed), includes 1 costume, team jacket, admin fee, and 1 group choreography fee. *Option to pay in full with a 10% discount or break into 6 monthly payments of approximately $89*

Part-time Team 1 Group Dance- MONTHLY PAYMENTS– Minimum monthly payments for Part-time Team will be approximately $94-$183 per month to be paid on the 15th of each month July 2023 – January 2024 (no payment is collected in December). Your final balance will be due January 15th, 2024. This is in addition to your tuition payments. These payments are for your required groups, conventions, costumes, etc. 

Part-time Team Minimum Requirements – 2 Group Dances

  • 2023-2024 approximate minimum Part-time Team costs: $865 for Team fee ($200 due when the team contract is signed), includes 2 costumes, team jacket, admin fee, and 2 group choreography fees. *Option to pay in full with a 10% discount or break into 6 monthly payments of approximately $144*

Part-time Team 2 Group Dances- MONTHLY PAYMENTS– Minimum monthly payments for Part-time Team will be approximately $113- $257 per month to be paid on the 15th of each month July 2023 – January 2024 (no payment is collected in December). Your final balance will be due January 15th, 2024. This is in addition to your tuition payments. These payments are for your required groups, conventions, costumes, etc.
